With the Turkish transfer window still open, sides from Turkiye are still being linked with a number of English Premier League players.
Eric Bailly confirmed his move to Turkish giants Besiktas a few days ago and reports from Turkiye are emerging that the Turkish giants were looking to sign another player from Old Trafford.
According to a report from Turkish outlet Fotospor, Besiktas made a loan offer for a young midfielder but it seems the offer was turned down.
The young midfielder in question is Tunisian youngster Hannibal Mejbri.
Mejbri spent last season on loan in the Championship with Birmingham City, but the youngster is seen as being part of manager Erik ten Hag’s first team squad for this season.
Despite that, the publication states that the Turkish side have seemingly not been put off by this news and are still looking to try to lure the midfielder to the club, with them believing that Mejbri could ‘explode’ in the Turkish Super Lig.
