Could tonight see a dramatic late move out of the club for Jadon Sancho?

Ever since the weekend, Sancho’s name has been on the lips of everyone after he responded to manager Erik ten Hag’s claims that he didn’t hit the expected standards in training.

After ten Hag’s ruthless responses to the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Marcus Rashford, who was dropped after turning up a minute late to a team meeting, many felt that the Dutchman will take a hard stance on the England international.

With Sancho not hitting the heights expected at United since his move from Dortmund, many have speculated that this summer he would be heading out of the door.

And it now seems that a Saudi Arabian side is looking to make a last minute loan move for the attacker.

That’s according to CBS Sports, who claim that Al Ettifaq are set to launch an 11th hour bid to sign Jadon Sancho on loan from United.

Al Ettifaq, who are managed by Steven Gerrard, have been busy this season already having brought in the likes of former Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson, Georginio Wijnaldum, Moussa Dembele and Demarai Gray.

If they bring in Sancho too, that would be a very healthy English contingent at the side.

Whether United would agree to a loan move remains to be seen.

It would likely depend on whether manager Erik ten Hag thinks that Sancho’s career and place in the squad is redeemable or not.
