INEOS are expected to lead the club into a new era, one which we hope will be riddled with success, a true testament to the work they already are doing restructuring the club’s recruitment.

One of Sir Jim’s visions for the club going forward is trusting youth and investing in youth who show prospect of being world beaters in lieu of spending a fortune on already-made players.

Incoming sporting director Dan Ashworth has spoken of the need to reduce the first team’s overall age as well as wage bill, and it looks like the new co-owners have plans of focussing on younger targets as opposed to mercenaries as was the case since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement.

True to this, Manchester United are being linked with talented Port Vale forward Baylee Dipepa.

The 17-year-old has two goals and two assists in only 492 minutes of action for the League One team. This is a very impressive return, especially considering he has only made a single star.

His displays for England’s U17 national team have also been impressive, with the youngster notching three goals in as many games during the Euro qualifiers

His last goal for his club has caught headlines all over England and rightly so.

United’s scouts have been told that they have to be at the front of the queue for domestic talent like Dipepa, as The Sun reports.

The Red Devils have brought through young forwards from their ranks before, but there hasn’t been enough success to label it a smashing hit.

United are described as being ‘keen to do business’ ahead of the summer transfer window.

The young attacker might not be the ready-made solution for the first team but, the club must always try and recruit the best young talents for the future.
