Mason Greenwood has been enjoying a fine resurgence in Spain at Getafe. He is currently on 11 goals and assists in 25 games in La Liga, fine form which has seen him attract the interest of European giants including Barcelona and Atlético Madrid.

It has also been rumoured that Italian giants Juventus are also interested in the 22-year-old forward and, as Daniel Longo reports, the Old Lady are getting serious about signing him.

According to the journalist, Juve have been discussing Greenwood in recent years but are finally serious about acquiring him, especially seeing as he is set to leave Old Trafford in the summer.

Man United are finally ready to completely cut ties with the disgraced striker after loaning him out and as of now, Juve are in prime position to acquire him.

The likelihood of this deal going through is further increased by the fact that United themselves are also highly after a Juve player in defender Gleison Bremer, and a player swap plus cash deal seems very likely.

It is reported that Man United will most likely ask for a fee in the region of 50 million pounds, which in all honesty is quite hefty for someone who prior to August hadn’t played any professional football for two years.

In all fairness to him, however, he has performed quite well all things considered, ergo all the interest from big clubs.

Bremer on the other hand is valued at close to 70 million pounds so if a deal were to be struck, United would probably only have to part with around 20 million pounds and for a player of Bremer’s quality, that quite a bargain.

It is all still in the early stages and United hold all the cards regarding Greenwood’s future, so much so that even Getafe manager is in the dark regarding his young striker’s future and if he gets to keep him.
