According to Fabrizio Romano, the current owners of Manchester United, the Glazers, have chosen not to pursue the high-profile signings thought to be on the wish list of potential new owner, Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al-Thani. These top-tier players include football superstars Kylian Mbappe and Neymar.
Rumors suggest that Sheikh Jassim is looking to leverage his Qatari connections to draw these two players from Paris Saint-Germain if his bid to take over the Red Devils proves successful.
However, as long as the Glazers maintain control over the club’s purse strings, they will be exploring other avenues.
As Romano explained in an interview with GiveMeSport, “The Glazers are absolutely not considering these options. They are not focusing on either Neymar or Mbappe. It is clear that the Glazers have chosen a different path.”
