Fulham have a lot on their plate as the transfer deadline approaches.
With Joao Palhinha potentially exiting the club and Aleksandar Mitrovic yet to be replaced, Fulham also have to consider adding depth on the wings and securing a new left-back.
Additionally, Tosin Adarabioyo’s uncertain future means they may need another center-back.
In an interesting development, Charlotte Daly of The Mail’s Transfer Deadline livestream has reported that Fulham have put forward an offer for Manchester United’s Eric Bailly.
According to Daly, “I’ve just been handed two pieces of news so I will just run through those. Fulham have made an offer to take Manchester United defender Eric Bailly on a two-year deal, but they want him to leave on a free transfer.”
This could be a shrewd move by Fulham.
While Bailly’s injury history is concerning, he’s viewed as a rotation option, reducing the risk.
The 29-year-old defender has the skills and may still have some good years ahead, making him a valuable addition even as a fourth or fifth choice in the center-back role.
