Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has given his take on the emerging speculations tying Galatasaray’s right-back, Sacha Boey, to Premier League giants Manchester United and Arsenal.
The 23-year-old has certainly caught the eye with his performances in Turkey, signaling that top-tier clubs might soon be in pursuit. However, Romano suggests fans shouldn’t hold their breath for an immediate move.
In a recent Daily Briefing for Caught Offside, Romano remarked, “Another player being linked is Sacha Boey, but I wouldn’t get too excited just yet.”
Highlighting a probable reason for the heightened interest, he pointed out, “We see this link since he joined Stellar agency in the summer, but he’s never been close to a move. There are no negotiations as of now as Galatasaray consider Boey a key player – his price was already around €30m in the summer.”
While both Man Utd and Arsenal have been the central names associated with Boey, other clubs in the Premier League have been brought into the conversation as per reports from Fotospor. The potential of Boey showcasing his skills in the Premier League is indeed an enticing prospect.
Considering Arsenal’s current need for reinforcements in light of Jurrien Timber’s injury, Boey might be an appealing acquisition. However, it’s worth noting that Manchester United already boasts the likes of Diogo Dalot and Aaron Wan-Bissaka in the right-back position.
