The Manchester United x Netherlands link is continuing to hold strong.

Since Erik Ten Hag has joined the club, there have been both incomings and outgoings from the club.

And it seems that trend is set to continue.

That’s because Dutch TV channel RTV Noord are reporting that youngster Noam Emeran is set for a loan move to Eerste Divisie side FC Groningen.

Emergan shone for The Red Devils on pre-season, with his highlight being the goal he scored against Leeds United in Norway.

RTV Noord report that 20-year-old Emeran is the club’s choice when it comes to an attacking winger for this season. Negotiations are under way between the clubs over terms of the loan as the Dutch side look to secure a player for a position they’ve been looking to reinforce all summer.

Emeran has been linked to a number of clubs on loan this summer including the likes of Anderlecht, RC Strasbourg, Coventry City, Sunderland and Vitesse Arnhem, but it seems that Groningen are in the front seat on this one.

If Emeran does move to the Netherlands, he will join Zidane Iqbal and Bjorn Hardley who both moved to FC Utrecht earlier in the window.
