Danish striker Rasmus Hojlund has been with Manchester United since the star signed with the team in July.
After transferring from Atalanta for a huge £72 million fee, he has yet to make his official debut due to a back injury sustained during pre-season training.
We have also yet to see his official squad number for the Red Devils confirmed.
However, according to Manchester Evening News, the club are set to confirm Hojlund’s shirt number before this weekend’s game against Arsenal.
This will be after the summer transfer window is slammed shut and before Ten Hag’s side heads to the Emirates.
The striker has previously worn the number 17 shirt when playing for Atalanta, and he is ready for a fresh start.
When the provisional squad numbers were submitted to the Premier League at the beginning of the season, Hojlund was not given a number.
It was stated that these numbers could still change after the transfer window closed.
Currently, Alejandro Garnacho wears No. 49, but we could also see his number change before the end of the weekend.
