It’s been some time now that Manchester United have been looking for new investments, with the club looking for bids since November 2022.

The Glazer family were looking for either partial or full ownership, and we have seen multiple bids come through for the Red Devils.

Various hedge funds have shown their interest, but we have seen the biggest ownership bids come from Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Sheikh Jassim.

According to The Sun, a total of nine bids have been made between the two, but the Sheikh appears to have now won the race with a significant offer of £6 billion.

This will provide Jassim with control over 100% of the club.

If all goes according to plan, the Qatari businessman could complete his bid and gain ownership in as little as two months.

He reportedly plans to wipe the club’s £725 million debt and upgrade Old Trafford and Carrington training ground.
