There’s no denying that the Red Devils are in the market for even more incoming transfers, especially with the increase of injured players in the past few weeks.
Ten Hag himself even admitted in Friday’s press conference that they are not where they want with the team.
And while some areas of existing players might need improvement, the club is also in need of some fresh faces.
According to GOAL, the most recent player on Manchester United’s radar is former Barcelona defender Jean-Clair Todibo.
The 23-year-old has built a strong reputation, and the Red Devils have picked up on his potential.
There is now talk of the club making a move to acquire the player for over £34 million.
Nice manager Francesco Farioli has also addressed these rumours:
“These rumours have existed since the start, so we’ve developed antibodies against them – be it the team or myself. There are a few days left – we’ll see. There is a chance that he stays, and I would be happy because he’s a quality player, and he would be very hard to replace. I hope the rumours stay rumours.”
So, he didn’t deny the possibility of a potential move to Manchester United.
We will have to wait to see if the talks become action and Todibo makes his way over to the Premier League team.
