Manchester United’s Premier League match against Newcastle United has been rescheduled for live TV broadcast.
The anticipated game scheduled for the 2nd of December remains on the same day, but will now be a prime-time Saturday evening match, commencing at 20:00 GMT.
UK viewers can catch the match live from St James’ Park on TNT Sports.
This change in timing is attributed to Manchester United’s UEFA Champions League commitment against Galatasaray in Turkey that week, making a lunchtime slot impractical.
Reminiscing the previous season, Manchester United faced a 2-0 setback in April during their trip to Newcastle. Interestingly, this defeat followed shortly after they claimed a 2-0 victory over the Magpies at the Carabao Cup final held at Wembley, under the leadership of Eddie Howe.
It should be noted that before this league face-off, both squads will compete once more, with Manchester United aiming to retain the Carabao Cup trophy. This encounter is slated for 1st November at Old Trafford.
