Manchester United is preparing to bolster its squad with the return of key players after several injury concerns. Here’s the latest from Old Trafford:

Casemiro: There was growing uncertainty regarding Casemiro’s injury after he was subbed out during Brazil’s match against Venezuela. Brazil’s coach, Fernando Diniz, shared, “He asked to come off due to a blow to his ankle.” Yet, the midfielder was spotted training ahead of Brazil’s match against Uruguay. He might be ready for the Sheffield United clash on October 21.

Luke Shaw: Having not featured since August 19 due to a leg muscle injury, Shaw’s comeback date remains uncertain. While Ten Hag hasn’t provided a definite timeline, Shaw hasn’t resumed training.

Predicted return: Between November 11 (Luton) and November 26 (Everton).

Raphael Varane: Good news on the Varane front, as Ten Hag mentioned, “He couldn’t make the game, he had a minor issue,” pointing towards a possible return for the Sheffield United match on October 21.

Kobbie Mainoo: After almost making a recovery, Mainoo reportedly faced a setback and did not feature in a friendly against Barnsley. Tentative return: November 2023.

Sergio Reguilon: The left-back might make a comeback this weekend against Sheffield United after a hamstring injury last month. Possible return: October 21.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka: Following a hamstring injury during the Brighton game, the club disclosed that Wan-Bissaka will be sidelined for “several weeks”. Indications point towards a return around November 26 against Everton.

Tyrell Malacia: The details of Malacia’s extended absence remain scarce. However, reports suggest he’ll need a few more weeks after missing the pre-season. Anticipated return: December 2023.

Amad Diallo: Fans are eagerly waiting for Amad’s return. The young winger, sidelined since the pre-season due to a knee issue, hinted on social media about his imminent return and potential loan move discussions for January. Projected return: November 2023.

Lisandro Martinez: Martinez’s 2023 campaign has come to a close. Following a surgery earlier this year for a broken metatarsal, he encountered discomfort in recent games. A subsequent procedure confirms his absence till 2024. Return expected: January 2024.
