Manchester United’s defender Brandon Williams has served his time with the club, but most fans would agree that it’s the right time for him to move on.
While he has been on the club’s books since 2008 as well as in and around the first team since 2019, it’s clear that he will no longer be in the managers’ plans for the first team with the likes of Luke Shaw, Tyrell Malacia and Diogo Dalot all ahead of him in the pecking order for the left back position.
Williams only played for United once in the Carabao Cup last season and was sent on loan the previoyus year to Norwich City. And it seems that he’s ready to move to a new club again.
According to TeamTalk, Williams will be swapping out life in the English Premier League and he seals a move Championship side Ipswich Town.
Joining The Tractor on loan, he’ll be managed by former Man United first team coach Kieran Mckenna.
Williams will also remain under contract with Man United until the end of the season, with the club having an option to extend it for an additional year.
It’ll be William’s first time playing Championship football.
Williams will be hoping to showcase his talents in hope of putting himself in the shop window for a permanent move to another side once his loan finishes at Ipswich.
