While there has been a lot of news surrounding incoming and outgoing Manchester United players amid the transfer window deadline, the England squad has just been announced too.

And there are a few familiar faces from the Red Devils you’ll see in the upcoming internationals against Ukraine and Scotland.

While Mount and Shaw had been rumoured to join the national team, they both had to step back from consideration due to injuries.

There were also talks of Dean Henderson being up for the team, but he hasn’t played enough for the Red Devils this season to be in contention.

So, who has actually made the England squad? Here are the United players heading to the internationals:

  • Harry Maguire
  • Marcus Rashford

Maguire is the fifth choice as United centre-back and hasn’t had much game time, but Gareth Southgate has shown fondness for him, and he might see more action for United after the international break with Shaw and Varane injured.

The entire team is as follows:

Defenders: Ben Chilwell (Chelsea), Levi Colwill (Chelsea), Lewis Dunk (Brighton & Hove Albion), Marc Guehi (Crystal Palace), Harry Maguire (Manchester United), Fikayo Tomori (AC Milan), Kieran Trippier (Newcastle United), Kyle Walker (Manchester City)

Midfielders: Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool), Jude Bellingham (Real Madrid), Conor Gallagher (Chelsea), Jordan Henderson (Al-Ettifaq), Kalvin Phillips (Manchester City), Declan Rice (Arsenal)
