It’s been a pretty chaotic August for the Red Devils, with the summer transfer window at large and multiple injuries putting players out.
We’ve already seen the team lose Mason Mount for at least six weeks, and we’re still waiting on an assessment of Rasmus Hojlund so we can see his debut on the pitch.
And things just got a bit more complicated with another injury added to the mix.
According to Manchester Evening News, left-back Luke Shaw sustained a muscular injury, putting him out for a number of weeks.
Manchester United are now without a senior out-and-out left-back, and ten Hag needs to make some serious decisions.
He will need to make the most of this last week of the summer transfer window and find a replacement for Shaw, whether on a long or short-term basis.
And with limited funds at the club, especially with a summer spend of over £170 million already, it could be a difficult choice for the manager.
