Not only are the Red Devils trying to find the best new signings to bring to Old Trafford before the end of the transfer window, but they are also working on their outgoings.

And there is the potential for up to eight players to leave the club between now and the 11 p.m. cut-off on Friday night.

Turkish goalkeeper Altay Bayindir is on the way to offset Dean Henderson’s signing for Crystal Palace, but Manchester United has also shown interest in bringing on Marc Cucurella and Sofyan Ambarat.

But new incoming need to be balanced by outgoings, so here are eight players that have the potential of leaving United before the deadline approaches, according to Manchester Evening News.

Dean Henderson

This one is already definite, as the transfer has been completed.

Dean Henderson will be moving to Crystal Palace; the only thing we need to wait for now is an announcement.

The player has been sold for around £20 million plus add-ons.

Eric Bailly

Eric Bailly doesn’t have a squad number yet for the season since Ten Hag removed his No. 3.

This isn’t good news for the defender in terms of staying with the club, however, there are no takers for the player yet.

Harry Maguire

Maguire was made available for transfer this summer, but after West Ham’s advances were rejected, it’s not looking like he may move.

Since Varane has been put out of the team due to a specified injury, we might see Maguire take his place as a first-team cover.

However, with a big enough bid, he could still leave.

Alvaro Fernandez

Even though United are in need of incoming players on loan due to injuries at left-back, we don’t expect to see Fernandez too much this season at Old Trafford.

He was loaned to Championship side Preston last term and managed to make 42 appearances, which means a move might be the best thing for the player.
